KLM UK Engineering Acquires EASA Part 147 Boeing 737 MAX Approval  

 

 AFI KLM E&M subsidiary is delighted to announce the addition of the Boeing 737 MAX to its EASA Part 147 Approval. 

 

 Paris, Amstelveen, Norwich 12 October 2018 – A European leader in the regional jets and narrow body aircraft market, and having an internationally acknowledged expertise on the Boeing 737, Embraer 170/190, BAe146/Avro RJ, Fokker 70/100 and Airbus A320 Family, KLM UK Engineering is delighted with this latest addition.  

 

 Ray Flower, Head of Technical Training, said: ‘KLM UK Engineering is delighted to have gained the approval for the Boeing 737 MAX. This was the natural progression for us, after delivering Boeing 737 training for over 15 years on the Classic, followed by the Next Generation.  With significant demand for both type and practical training for this product we look forward to offering solutions for 2019 onwards

 

 The Company’s training facility recently relocated to the International Aviation Academy Norwich, which is adjacent to the main base maintenance operation. This facility has been purpose built to accommodate aviation engineering training, with a live Boeing 737 aircraft, fully equipped workshops and state of the art classrooms, to create a great learning environment. KLM UK Engineering & Alliance Airlines Pty Ltd Sign Long-term Heavy Maintenance Contract

Paris, Amstelveen, Norwich – August 2018 – AFI KLM E&M subsidiary is delighted to announce the signing of a long-term heavy maintenance agreement with Alliance Airlines Pty Ltd.

KLM UK Engineering will be supporting Alliance Airlines with their Fokker 70/100 aircraft, providing heavy maintenance support in Norwich from summer 2018.

Graham Casbourne, Sales Manager, said ‘KLM UK Engineering is delighted to continue to support Alliance Airlines with their Fokker 70/100 maintenance, following on from checks carried out in 2017. This long-term agreement further cements the relationship and trust between our companies and we look forward to developing this further during the contract.’

Lee Schofield, Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Airlines, said ‘We are very pleased to lock in this long-term arrangement with KLM UK Engineering.  We will be operating Fokker 70/100 for at least the next ten years and the maintenance support provided by KLM UK Engineering will assist us greatly during this time.’

KLM UK Engineering Provides Line Maintenance Support for TUI 

KLM UK Engineering will be supporting TUI with their Boeing 737NG’s aircraft providing line maintenance support in Aberdeen during the summer operation.

Wayne Easlea, Operations Director – ‘KLM UK Engineering will be supporting Boeing 737NG aircraft for TUI at our line maintenance station in Aberdeen. This follow’s previous support for TUI in recent years at our other line stations in the UK & are pleased to be supporting them during their busy summer operations’.

AFI KLM E&M subsidiary is delighted to announce the signing of a line maintenance agreement with SAS.

KLM UK Engineering will be supporting SAS with their Boeing 737 & Airbus A320 Family aircraft providing line maintenance support in Edinburgh & Aberdeen commencing early 2018.
